York Embedded Ltd. were engaged to design a wearable biometric device, capable of collecting over 500 measurements about the wearer every second, and synchronising the data to a phone using a BlueTooth Low Energy radio.
This project encompassed the full design cycle up to a first functioning prototype, including refining the product specification with the client; schematic capture and PCB layout; enclosure design with Mortimer Engineering Services; embedded and test software development; and prototype production and testing.
